computers and internet basics
well this is one thing i've been asking myself, personally because if you ask me that question i would say " i'm not"... when i was in high school i took computer basic for a pay, take note, its a separate curriculum where we have the choice wether to take it or not... i was in first year then in a public high school and luckily my mom did agreed to enroll me there, we studied computer basics which i dont remember now what topics are those but im sure we did, :p i was 3rd honor in that class hehehe... when i was in college we studied that too but i must admit, i never learned how to do excel, power point, you know stuffs like that, we'll maybe because it wasnt my major, im a nursing graduate so its really a minor subject, but thinking about that now, i wish i learned more, a little far from basic or maybe just in between basic and a pro, thinking bout how hard to look for jobs now, especially for nurses like me, i opted to do online jobs, and its a bit hard for me, with the lack of basics... thank god i know how to read and that im educated and i understand english, its just sad that during that time students wasnt equip enough with knowledge about new innovations and technology, maybe for those who can afford they can, but what about those who cant? nowadays its hard to look for a job even to college graduates much more to those who dont have money to spend for their college, they wasnt able to get enough materials and sources to help them when they were studying how much more now? not enough education, not enough money to spend for it, how are they gonna search for a job? maybe thats the reason other people opts to do stressful hard jobs for less pay... they dont have a choice now do they?
